How does it look now the most expected motorway in Romania

It probably is the most expected motorway in Romania because it will make and end of the queues of cars of Bucharest inhabitants that go to the mountains in weekends and it will lighten the traffic on DN1, the most transited national road from Romania. It is about Bucharest – Brasov motorway.
 
The authorities promised that by the end of the year we will be able to circulate on the motorway up to Ploiesti.
 
Works stage:
 
Bucharest – Moara Vlasiei section (km 0+000 – 19+500)
  • the second asphalt layer is being laid on both ways,
  • it is working on the arrangement of the intersections at the end of this sector (including the passage across the motorway from Moara Vlasiei on DJ 101) and metallic parapet mounting,
  • the passage from DJ 100 over the motorway, at km 8+950, was put into exploit.
 
Physical stage:
  • Km 0+000-6+000, 0%,
  • Km 6+000-19+500, 85%,
     
Moara Vlasiei – Ploiesti section (km 19+500 – 62+000)
 
Physical stage: 64%
  • km 19+500 – 31+600 section (Euroconstruct Trading ’98 S.R.L.) – it is working on all bridges and passages, on ballast foundation and on concrete stabilized ballast layer.
  • km 31+600 – 48+200 (Pa&Co International S.R.L.) – it is workeing on all bridges and passages, on ballast foundation, on concrete stabilized ballast layer on both ways. The laying of asphalt started on the first 10 km on both ways.
  • km 48+200 – 62+00 (Spedition UMB S.R.L.) – it is working on the arrangement of the intersection from Ploiesti Ring Road, it is mounting the metallic road guard, following with the laying of the final asphalt layer – the wearing layer.
